An analysis of the existing conditions was followed by recommendations geared to establish a comprehensive thirty-year vision that takes into consideration both long and short term building strategies. With $124M from a County of Los Angeles approved bond measure that was to be expended within five years (half within three years), a major component of this plan is to advise on the best investment strategy to provide state-of-the-art facilities for existing and new departments into the future as well as to affect true transformation of the physical and educational environment of the campus.
