The City of Huntington Beach has engaged Johnson Favaro to prepare a master plan for the city’s Oak View Park, Community Center, and Library. The 2.54-acre property owned by the City of Huntington Beach situates within the Oak View neighborhood, a walkable, vibrant, and historically underserved area of the city. The primary goal of the planning effort is to identify, establish, and develop programs, services, and resources to inform the development of a comprehensive master plan and concept design for an enhanced, expanded, renovated, and /or replaced array of facilities and to do so with community’s involvement. The plan will take shape over the course of 2021 and 2022 through an engaged and collaborative community-driven process.
